Ubuntu Forums reaches 500,000 members

We have been averaging more than 800 new users per day lately in the Ubuntu Forums. That is astounding!
Woo hoo!

Of course, 499,997 of those are people saying "I can’t get ____ to work" and "Hey, me too!". The other three are the ones who actually can get it to work, and they’re a bit busy posting actual answers…
Oh, and: congratulations!

It does show that people still have quite some problems to get Ubuntu going on their hardware. It shows as well how responsive the Ubuntu community is. And it doesn’t show how many people just search the forum, find the answer and move on.
Congratulations to the 500 000 members!

soon their will be enough members to be able to become it’s own country.
After the 160th country… they are less than half a million, like Luxembourg, Iceland, or Monaco.
