Site stats for the last month
From Google Analytics. From December 6, 2009 to January 5, 2010 10,327 people visited this site. Here is the breakdown of the browsers and operating systems they used. I’m especially intrigued that regardless of operating system, over 87% of visitors are using Firefox. Wow!

Your visits came from 108 different countries around the world and from every continent (but I can’t confirm the presence nor absence of visits from Antarctica, so if you are from there, please post and say, “Hello!”). Thank you all for stopping in. I’m honored and amazed.

Interesting, most visitors of a blog that (mainly) talks about linux and ubuntu use windows.
I thought so too. Maybe people are coming for the book reviews or looking to switch??

Hi there.
I just stopped by to say while my stats might not be included in your Analytic’s (I read your blog via Planet Ubuntu’s RSS feed) I do, in fact read it, and I enjoy it a lot. I’m from Iran, and while my continent is represented in yout stats in wanted to add mine. Thanks for sharing so many great things with us
Thanks, Milad.
Very surprised there are no (or very few) Opera users working from Linux.
It’s a fine browser, very much underrated..
I’m interested to learn how much Chrome will change the 87% that Firefox has now. For browsers these are exciting times.
Thank for the statistics Matthew.
Piwik! If you want to try it out on your blog, I can let you have access to my install, as it can track multiple sites.
I had never heard of that. Thanks! I run my own server, so I’ll look for some time to install it locally and check it out. Expect a post in a few months if I both have time to get it up and running and find out I like it. From the website it looks great.
For others looking, here’s the link to Piwik’s site.
